FAQ

To ensure your safety and prevent any potential allergic reactions, a patch test is mandatory for all initial appointments. This test determines if you have any allergies to the pigments used in the procedure. We will provide you with a patch test kit via postal mail, so please provide us with your home or work address along with your name. It’s important to note that a separate patch test is required for each treatment area, whether it’s for your brows, lips, or eyeliner.

The patch test must be conducted at least 48 hours before your scheduled treatment. This time frame ensures that we have enough time to assess the results and make any necessary adjustments.

In addition to the patch test, we also require completion of consultation form. This form provides us with essential information about your medical history, current medications, and any existing skin conditions.

Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and these measures are put in place to ensure that your permanent makeup experience is a positive one.

Preparing for your treatment is essential for a successful outcome. Here are some important guidelines to follow:

1. Eyebrow Shaping: There’s no need to shape your eyebrows before your appointment. Our skilled artists have extensive experience in brow shaping and will create a shape that complements your facial structure. After the treatment, your brow hair will continue to grow as usual.

2. Brow Maintenance: It is your responsibility to maintain the shape of your brows between appointments. This can be done through regular plucking or waxing. To avoid interfering with the pigmented area, we recommend waiting at least 2-3 weeks after your treatment before waxing.

For more detailed information on how to prepare for your treatment and to ensure optimal results, please refer to our Before\/Aftercare page. If you have any further questions or concerns, our team is always available to assist you.

A touch-up (sometimes more than one) is highly recommended and advised to achieve the desired results. All touch-ups are an additional cost, and are never free or included in the price. It is not uncommon to lose up to 50% of the pigment after the first application, that’s why touch-ups are necessary.

All touch-ups must be completed within the first 4-12 weeks since the first treatment. Please contact us to book your appointment.

If you’ve previously received a similar treatment, please send me a photo for review to determine if I can work over it. Please note that I do not offer retouch services on other artists’ work at a retouch price. Each client’s shape is important to me, and I evaluate it on a case-by-case basis.

In some instances, previous work may be too dark, have a shape significantly different from my recommendations, or appear too uneven to be adjusted. In such cases, it may be suggested to have the existing work removed before proceeding with a new treatment.

For verification purposes, kindly send us a photo of the existing permanent makeup.

The level of discomfort experienced during the treatment varies from person to person. For eyebrow treatments, many individuals either feel no sensation at all or describe it as similar to tweezing or a light scratching sensation. During eyeliner treatments, most people report feeling nothing at all, and some even find it surprisingly relaxing to the point of falling asleep during the procedure. On the other hand, lip treatments can be slightly more sensitive due to the presence of numerous blood vessels and nerve endings. However, the majority of people tolerate it well.

We understand that everyone’s pain tolerance and sensitivity levels differ. If you would like to minimize any potential discomfort, please let us know, and we can apply a topical anesthetic cream to the treatment area. This cream helps numb the skin, making the procedure more comfortable for you.

Ensuring your comfort and satisfaction is our priority, so please don’t hesitate to communicate your preferences or concerns regarding pain management during your treatment.

Permanent makeup typically lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on various factors such as skin type, lifestyle, color intensity, and maintenance. Thinner or softer enhancements may not have the same longevity as bolder ones. To maintain the vibrancy of the color, we recommend scheduling regular color touch-ups.

In some rare instances, the pigment may not stay as well in the skin, leading to faster fading than usual. Please note that pigment retention can be influenced by factors like skin type, texture, oiliness, and post-care practices. While we strive for optimal results, we cannot guarantee pigment retention due to these variables that are beyond our control.

To maintain the highest standards of concentration, skill, and hygiene during your treatment process, it is necessary to limit the number of individuals present in the treatment area. Therefore, I regret to inform you that I cannot accommodate the presence of family or friends during the procedure.

However, if you would like to bring someone along for support or company, they are more than welcome to wait in our comfortable waiting area. They can also take advantage of this time to schedule a separate treatment or explore the nearby shops and cafes. We want to ensure that both you and your companion have a pleasant experience while you undergo your treatment.

Thank you for understanding and respecting our policies, which are in place to maintain the utmost professionalism and focus during your time with us.

We prioritize the use of top-tier pigments from reputable brands such as Li Pigments, Phi Brows, I am ink, and Clinica. These pigments have been carefully selected for their exceptional quality, durability, and resistance to color changes over time. Rest assured that with proper care, the pigments used during your treatment will not fade into unwanted blue, green, or purple shades.

While the initial color may appear vibrant, it is important to note that the pigments will naturally soften over time. This is a normal part of the healing process and can vary from person to person. To maintain the desired intensity and freshness of your permanent makeup, we highly recommend scheduling regular color boosts. These touch-up appointments help to enhance and refresh the color, ensuring long-lasting and satisfactory results.

Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to using only the highest-quality pigments to provide you with beautiful, natural-looking results that stand the test of time. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us
